" World Polio Day, 2013"

On Thursday, 24 October, 2013 was "World Polio Day". On the occasion of Polio Day, Nepal National PolioPlus Committee & Rotary RI District 3292 organized rally on Kathmandu 24th October 2013 at 7.00 am started on Basantapur to Rotary Hall Thapathali in which seven interactors participated. Itr. Sumana Shakya, Itr. Hemanshi Goyal, Itr. Tulsi Jain, Itr. Shivam Ghiraiya, Itr. Diya Raj Karnikar, Itr. Sushrut Ghimire and Itr. Muskan Chirania have given their valuable presence in the rally.

On 8th october, 26 interactors of D.A.V. Interact club of pashupati-kathmandu, Nepal visited Karya Binayak, Bungamati, Lalitpur, on the ocassion of our Late Sushil Kedia's Birthday Celebration to donate Food, Clothes,Books which are collected from among themselves. They are groomed with the feelings of helping needy peoples. So, they discharge that feelings out of them in Apanga Sewa Samaj at Bungamati in Lalitpur today. There were 39 differently abled children including both boys and girls under the guidance of Mr. Dayaram Maharjan with devine spiritual talent which make everyone present there very proud of them and became the source of inspiration for the helping children.

Monthly Quiz Contest 1

On 21 september, Interact board is formed in D.A.V. School in front of the reception chamber for the observance of the D.A.V.ians. The Board is especially targeted for the monthly interact quiz which has been intiated on the same day by the members of the club. The board is beautifully decorated with three question,which includes one question related to rotary, keeping in the mind about the flourishment of the club's identity among other students.
The result of september with the announcement of the october quiz was done in the assembly conducted on 8th october, 2013 by Itr. Garima Somani and Itr. Smriti Basnyat. Three winners were selected through the lucky draw from the hand of The Respected CAO of the school, Ms. Bijaya Tartar. It was informed to the winners that they will be given certificate of achievement on the special occasion which will be held in the School. It was the new experience for the D.A.V.ians to have a lucky draw in the assembly too. Everyone appreciated the program which is to be held monthly in D.A.V. School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.
